Your free year starts when you create your account. Settings shows Free until <date>, then US$0.99/year. The yearly subscription will be offered through the App Store before anyone's free year ends; the App Store may show the price in your local currency.
Why so cheap?
Because we don't store your messages or photos, don't sell data and don't run ads, running Simit costs very little. So we can charge almost nothing, and the people who use Simit are our only customers.
No message storage
Messages and photos are deleted from our servers once delivered, so we don't pay to store years of history.
No ads, no data selling
You're the customer, not the product. We have nothing to sell advertisers.

When does my free year start and end?
It starts when you create your Simit account and lasts one year. Settings shows the exact date: Free until <date>, then US$0.99/year.
How will I pay?
Through Apple, as a yearly App Store subscription. There's no in-app purchase yet and nothing is charged in your first year. The subscription will be available in the App Store before anyone's free year ends, and we'll tell you in the app before any charge.
Will I pay in US dollars?
The price is US$0.99/year. The App Store may show and charge it in your local currency, so the exact amount can vary by country.
Can the price change?
If we ever change the price, we'll give you notice in advance. See the Pricing section of our Terms of Service.
